Civilization [siv-uh-luh-zey-shuh n] -( noun) - an advanced state of human society, in which a high level of culture, science, industry, and government has been reached.
Example: Humans gradually changing the world to suit their needs through their own inventions. Nomadic People & River Valley CivilizationsHumans have walked the earth for more than 150,000 years, but it was only 10,000 years ago that our distant ancestors began establishing communities.
Several of these civilizations grew up along major rivers of the eastern hemisphere. We will take a look at a number of these civilizations.
