The whole world has waited for this moment! The Museum of Mesopotamia opened it's doors today to the public. Archaeologists & historians from around the world flocked to be the first to enter this one-of-a-kind museum. Although several parts are still under construction, the areas that are completed are amazing!
World famous archaeologist, Hamm Urabi, stated, "The information is top notch! (I do however feel that there need to be stricter rules & consequences as how one should behave while in the museum."
When asked what he though, ruling historian, Sargon de Akkad commented, "I like how all the information about Mesopotamia is finally unified in one place, under one ruler, ahhh, rather one roof."
Also on hand for the grand opening was Assyrian hero, Gilga Mesh. Mesh, arriving after a 14 hour flight, cryptically stated, "I can now rest in peace! I am so glad that so many artifacts have been saved from the flood." Perhaps he was just tired from his fight with Bull of Heaven?
Overall the museum has already received much notoriety. Imagine what it will be like when the entire museum is complete. Why not visit the Museum of Mesopotamia yourself?
